Thanks Obama! No seriously, thank you for making fatties pay more for their obese lifestyles. Let their premiums rise like their heart rate.

When I hear "thanks Obama!", I automatically think of this c&h comic

"Thanks Obama" got popular from Rush Limbaugh or Bill O'Reilly.

It really isn't optional anymore. You have to charge more for unhealthy lifestyles because society simply can't support all the fatties. The health care system is literally collapsing under their weight.

Which is odd, because they charge men as much as women now, even though womens health issue cost a shitload more than mens usually do.

But I guess it's not PC to charge women an extra $50 a month until they stop being women.

Most of us want women in our society, about an amount of them equal to the number of men, so it's okay to share costs. No one really wants fat people in their society (except those that have destructive reasons and they are not the majority.)

TIL about the "Million Pound March". God fucking damnit.

[–] BeetusBringsBoys 0 points 21 points (+21|-0) ago

They couldn't find a million people like everyone else with a cause? Let's say the average weight of people who bitch about it is 250lbs (probably higher, but why not). That's only 4,000 people to hit 1,000,000 lbs.

And march? You're telling me that these things are capable of marching? I find that unlikely.

It was probably a three block walk followed by an enormous potluck.

They're very adept at misappropriating words. Evidently the words "race," "run," "jog," and now "march" all mean the same thing: waddle

It's not that they can't find a million obese people, most just have condishuns and ran out of breath before they made it out the front door.

Advocates for overweight Americans see wellness programs as thinly veiled fat discrimination

Jesus Christ, what isn't fat discrimination these days? Hell, just the mere existence of thin people makes them feel discriminated against

I think the more important question is "In what way is fat discrimination bad".

"Stop recommending radiation therapy! Leukemia discrimination is wrong!"

We've put our top lexiconologists on the case and can confidently state that FAT is not a five letter word either. The solution is out there, people! We're so close.

There are times where I seriously disagree with Obama. There are times when I look at his statements or policies and know that I am on the opposite side of them. This is not one of those times.

Smokers have to pay more for coverage = the fatties don't care. Fatties have to pay more for coverage = "It's addicting, I can't help it!" "It's not always a choice to be fat!" Stupid fat fucks. Those were the same excuses the smokers used, jackasses, and you didn't care about them then.

First they came for the smokers, and I did not speak out because I wasn't a smoker.

Then they came for the alcoholics, and I did not speak out because I had a mouthful of cheese.

Then they came for me and I was so fat I was barely able to draw in enough breath to inform that that I'm perfectly healthy.

I was going to make a similar edit to the original Martin Niemöller quote but wasn't feeling very inspired to do so. Thanks for taking care of it!

I hate Obamacare, but making fat people have a harder time effectively stealing from everyone else is completely fine by me.
