That much of food in one setting just makes me nauseous. Food should be cherished, not wolfed down like some wild animal would do.

Also wild animals only tend to wolf down food if they have gone for days without anything or are concerned another animals may come to challenge them for the food, even animals only eat fast for a genuine reason! Ever seen a pride of lions eat a kill? They tend to take their time with it because there's little threat to a fully established pride.
