That argument is 100% bullshit. While yes, sometimes it IS true that you can't tell if someone has cerebral palsy without them telling you, or they have some other ailment that is serious that isn't readily visible by everyone. Sometimes.
OTHER TIMES, YOU CAN. You fucking can. I can tell when someone is going through chemo and doesn't feel well at all. I can tell when someone is using a wheelchair because idk THEY'RE PARALYZED, OR SOMETHING. I can tell when someone needs a cane in order to walk. I can also tell when someone has a service dog, no I cannot always immediately tell the reason, but I can fucking see the dog. Therefore I know to assume the dog is NEEDED in that person's life!
My point is that this whole fucking argument that FAT people use is ENTIRELY NOT OKAY AND IS FUCKED UP!!!!! It undermines people who actually truly do have visible disabilities that affect them 24 hours of every day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But fats want to say "Well you can't tell if someone has a disability/health/genetic predisposition to being fat just by looking at them"
Unacceptable. Disgusting. Undermining, and yes, PRIVILEGED. Fat people who aren't too fat to get around, essentially calling their "fat" a disability, fucking disgust me and I'm sure any disabled person would be downright insulted to know that fat, OTHERWISE ABLE-BODIED PEOPLE, are making arguments at disabled people's expenses because "Health at any size!!!"
FUCKING. STOP.
tl;dr : Fatties use the excuse of "not knowing" someone's health just by looking at them at actually disabled people's expense.

Not to mention the fats steeling all the disability scooters and parking
lotsspacesedit: as far as I know there are no disabled's parking lots, only spaces
[–] WarGy 0 points 3 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago
I've seen separate disabled parking lots at places with a lot of parking (e.g. amusement parks).

Being obese is a "disability" (put in HUGE quotation marks because I don't consider it a disability, just a self-inflicted inconvenience) that someone CHOOSES. Then, they put that handicapped label on themselves and bitch and moan until everyone treats them like the victim they want to be. FUCK fatties who claim to be truly disabled.
[–] Dexter_Widget 0 points 3 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago
THIS. It's not truly a disability if you CHOOSE it!
[–] DelusionalHominids 0 points 5 points 5 points (+5|-0) ago
A disability is not something you choose to have and not something you can simply choose to stop having with the power of your own will. Fat people know this, but they're so unbelievably selfish and lazy that they want the special treatment granted to the legitimately disabled, which is one of the main reasons they always lie about their diet and exercise. They cling to all kinds of bullshit excuses that often work in the moment on the ignorant, unprepared, and uneducated, but never hold up to real scrutiny.
