And people say shaming doesn't work!
Also, if you're one of the ones doing the photoshopping, PLEASE water-mark the slim photos you make of them. I have no doubt that some just want a profile picture for Tinder or whatever.

NO, dont watermark em for the love of god
imagine the hilarity of them being insta dumped because theyre fat
i love it when fatties who catfish get insta laid off by a date

I think we found the host of Catfish!
Maybe you are right - Que the drama.

Not to mention how obvious 99% of the shops are, so it's just kind of embarrassing lmao.

Indeed. If you're too afraid of fat shaming to walk out of a date after being catfished, you deserve to be with a fatty.

Ha! I never thought about it, but you just KNOW there's someone out there who is going to use the photo to catfish someone else.

Can the watermark say "This is what I could look like if I actually made an effort. #thinnerbeauty"?
[–] tableflipper 0 points 15 points 15 points (+15|-0) ago

Smart move, hope. Smart move.

These fatties aren't going to get any more motivated. Instead, these fat fucks are going to take their newly acquired thin pictures and proceed to catfish people on tinder/okc/pof. I guaran-fucking-tee it.
[–] RedCleopatra 0 points 8 points 8 points (+8|-0) ago
That actually sounds like a great idea. If someone is still sane and rational and hasn't fallen down the tumblr rabbit hole, this could be a great motivator for them to put down the fork and do some squats.

Other than the catfishing angle, I like it too. If they truly get on, and stay on, the path to becoming a better person then my ridicule will become encouragement. It'll be a long road for them, longer for some, but the end goal is achievable.

Woah, this makes me want to shop the fat people I know in my life, then print out a ton of pictures and just hide them EVERYWHERE.
Put one in the fridge especially, maybe the pantry.
If they get mad and throw it out, pull out another copy.
Force them back to reality every time they wander to the kitchen in a food addicted brain fog.

People like results, they really like results; with no work. This is either amazing, or very scary. I would not put money on hams changing.
[–] byebyethrow001 0 points 5 points 5 points (+5|-0) ago
I requested a doctored picture of a fat person I hate. :)
[–] DelusionalHominids 0 points 3 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago
I'm really not surprised they went with the harassment angle. That's tabloid level sensationalism and dishonesty.
[–] 2064641? 0 points 3 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago
I love how all the articles say the picture was 'stolen'. These were pictures freely shared and then altered into a new work of art (like a weird Al song).
[–] DelusionalHominids 0 points 3 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago
And of course you can easily find articles saying the pictures were used without permission (implying permission is needed) while they not only litter the article itself with the pictures which they clearly did not obtain permission for, but they also use photos of people on a daily basis without their permission as well. And that's fine. It's legal and all news does this. It's just hypocritical and manipulative to keep repeating in this one instance that photos are being used without permission.

Truer words were never spoken.
