It makes me feel like I'm in a dystopian novel, like a perpetual dream where things just get more surreal every day. Waiting at the pharmacy yesterday, it was an endless parade of hams, the customers were fat, the employees were fat, save a pharmacist, myself and the woman next to me with her child. She was speaking to the kid in Russian and I thought to myself what it must look like to her to see fat people literally everywhere. As if on cue, a fat woman and her 250lbs+ teenage daughter (with green streaks in her hair) waddled past.

When I'm in situations like that I think I'm in some "What Would You Do" setup. The only thing that makes me not start looking around for the cameras is the fact that I don't live in America.
