Just one question, you said that the children get no salt in their food? That seems somewhat too much to me. I mean potatoes without any salt at all kinda taste lame.

Yeah I agree but they don't seem to notice. I think my sister thinks they get enough sodium in cereal and bread and stuff.

Little kids have a different palate. Their taste buds are more sensitive. When I season something for my own preferences, it tastes waaay over seasoned to my 4-year-old. This moderates over time - my 10-year-old seasons things close to the way his dad does. Of course, this natural process of maturation can be short-circuited by feeding your children nothing but processed trash.

True, I know that. Of course I don't know how old the kids are in the household. I thought of like 10-14 year olds. If they are younger it of course makes sense.
