Ragen is 'only' Class 3 obese, since they stopped counting at three. Class 1 is from 30-35, Class 2 is from 35-40 and Class 3 is 40 upwards. If they continued she would be almost Class 5. A BMI so ridiculous the creator of the classification didn't even bother putting it in. A tool to measure failure in kg/m^2, and they thought: Well, nobody is that bad.

I present to you: Ragen, 'professional' 'athlete' and 'IronMan-Participant', and a failure so big, people whose job was to measure failure didn't include her in the scale.

Despite how with this style of classification, it's really fucking obvious how they're unhealthy...
Of course, BMI is the work of the devil scientists who want to oppress the healthy fats. /s

Which is why I have when they use body builders of professional athletes as a way to "dispute" the BMI. It's like, taking a step back from the science of it all, you can look at these two body shapes and automatically pick out which one isn't healthy.

I fucking hate that lying obeast. Someone else read her latest Ironfat update? She is just now learning to brake (lol), cant shift right (wut) and for some reasons its really important she does 'figure eights' on her bike. Also she lies about how fast she can go. Fucking buttercunt. I hope they do let her start and then she gets disqualified for not making the cutoff on her first discipline. (Or just drowns, but I guess that would be hard with 300 kilos of lard attached).

I hope she gets hit by a bus and loses the ability to walk.

Legs. She doesn't deserve them.

No need to destroy a perfectly good bus, the beetus will eventually take her legs without anyone else getting hurt.

Thin privilege is not having fatty deposits in your brain, making it harder for you to learn simple cognitive actions on motor vehicles.

A while ago somebody linked to a blog largely dedicated to calling her out on her bullshit. IIRC, the race she is planning to do has very narrow, winding bike paths with very limited passing areas and swimmers are pulled out of the water one or two at a time. I really hope she gets scared and drops out, because she will pose a very real danger to actual athletes who run the risk of smashing into her at high speeds because they can't see her on the bike path before it's too late, to say nothing of her impact on the time of athletes who get stuck behind her.

Edit: I believe she will be pulled if she can't make the maximum time for her splits. The swim time is generous because amateurs typically practice swimming the least but she will be DQ'd if her bike pace puts her on track to finish the afternoon after the race.

Wait wait wait. How does one ride a bike, literally at all, without having a rudimentary understanding of how to brake? I used to race professionally, and the braking in a time trial (essentially what the bike portion is) isn't much more complicated than what you learned as a kid.

EDIT: Also wait. Presumably she's doing figure eights to build up confidence in the corners, trust in tyres and stuff. This is perfect ham logic. the race is 120 miles with maybe 500meters total of corners. Fuck straight line speed! I need to work on the corners!

Its a mystery. You seem to know your stuff about bikes so I highly recommend reading her blog (or reading about it at dancing with facts). Basically, she has a bike that was disfigured beyond all recognition, is too fat to ride it properly, yet expects to complete a half tri in about a month. It boggles the mind.

How the hell do you compare yourself the the Rock when he is a whole foot taller?

Probably because there is no one else her height that is close to the same weight in the Rocks fit class.

A foot taller, yet twenty pounds lighter. Just let that sink in.

Ragen is literally one of the worst fatties. She scams people by exploiting weak fatties and promising them that fats can be "active". Probably the worst perpetuator of fat logic.

She actively tells other obeasts to ignore medical advice. She tells those considering weight loss not to bother sincr it won't work anyway. She's a disgusting. narcissistic, pathological liar.

Despite BMI being off in the case of very muscular people, in the rock's case it's actually a different problem. BMI doesn't scale well to very tall people. Since you're squaring a number instead of cubing it in the formula, someone who is 6'5 will have a higher bmi than someone 5'6 who is proportionately exactly the same shape/body composition.

For example, let's scale the rock down to 5'10" which is close to average. He would be 195 pounds and his bmi would be about 28. It would be pretty easy to make a mathematically sound bmi formula that would scale to all heights; the only thing I can think is that whoever came up with it isn't very good at math. It's still going to be pretty accurate for anyone who isn't very tall or very short.
