I read somewhere that there are now more people dying of obesity than dying of hunger. Progress? When people wished to end world hunger I don't think this is what they had in mind.

The biggest mistake the world ever made was funding the USDA and other major agricultural organizations for the very specific purpose of ending world hunger and starvation. It partly resulted in unnecessary foreign aid, overpopulation and mass influx of impoverished low-IQ immigrants. That and also contributing to the obesity epidemic by pathologising hunger in general. People don't always need to be feeling full and satiated 24/7!

Thank you conch. People I know act as skipping a meal is equivalent to Chinese water torture and will irreparably damage your health. I skip breakfast from time to time and when I tell even thin people this they give me bewildered looks like I just claimed to be from Mars.
