No. Just no. If your spouse is at work and you stay home, you aren't suddenly free of adult obligations. Do the housework, cook the meals, balance the checkbook, STAY FIT.

Honestly. If I get lucky enough to marry someone who's okay with me being a homemaker or working from home, I'll be damned if I let myself go that much.

I’m a stay-at-home wife and I cannot imagine just sitting on my ass all day. It gets really boring unless you stay active. I have to find new projects and volunteering opportunities to keep me busy because house work doesn’t take much time at all unfortunately. I’ve definitely had the occasional lazy day but if I were to do nothing more than once I’d get into a deep depression and feel like I have no purpose. Being a stay-at-home wife or even being retired isn’t for lazy people. Everyone needs something to do
