We don't all need the same portion sizes. Literally no one ever claimed that. The suggestion is to eat the portion sizes that are appropriate for you. Note that is not the same as saying eat as much as you want. Tall people eating larger portions than short people is not the same as continuing to eat because it's still physically possible to force down more food.

And you can’t even eat based on your hunger, especially if you’re fat. We’re meant to be a little bit hungry at all times, it’s the normal state of being.
