I do like my food to be tasty and have a good balance of flavors.
But if by Shitlord Chef you mean: Cunt who puts 3 string beans on a egg cup'ed size pile of rice and charges $80 for the privilege I'd have to disagree. I can't stand gourmet chefs who think they can charge a few hundred dollars for putting 1-2 pieces of lettuce with some drizzle.
I like decent food, that tastes good in a REASONABLE portion size, as in not a Hamplanet portion but not a snooty gourmet chef portion.

The chef you described is not a real chef, just a poser
But really, you should try a prix fixe at a real restaurant. The portions are small because they're supposed to be part of a coursed meal.

Was about to say the same thing. Most of those super fancy plates you see in magazines and on tv with the tiny portion sizes are meant to be eaten as a full course meal. You would never be able to finish the whole thing if each dish was a normal adult serving size. Unless you were a buttergolem of course.
