There is a
worldhamplanet of difference between sexuality and obesity.Homosexuality is not a disease, and there's nothing to cure. There are some dangers at play if not practicing safe sex, I'll give you that. But being gay doesn't put your kids at risk of being gay. Being gay doesn't automatically shorten your life span, or tax our medical system. It doesn't mean my insurance premiums go up to help cover the inherent health risks with being gay, or to cover surgery to reduce the gayness.
Obesity, on the other hand, adversely affects both the hamplanets health, and the health of any dwarf planets/moons (their kids) that they may somehow manage to produce (I don't know how and I don't care to imagine it). Being fat means a shorter life span and lower quality of life. It taxes our medical system, it causes discomfort to those around it, and it's a genuine safety concern - how the hell am I supposed to escape a burning building if some whale is moving slowly, blocking my path and possibly the door?
Lastly, what the hell is a law professor writing about health concerns for?
