90% of the time my job let's me rock dress casual or business attire. When in the office, it that or company branded. However there are times that I'm required to wear company branding. The company branded polos, button-downs, etc are ordered twice a year.
The company we order through vanity sizes. I'm an active 5'10" guy tipping the scales at a whole 151lbs. So in vanity sizing, I wear a small. Real clothing sizing, a medium. Well 2 years ago I made the mistake of ordering a medium and it was huge on me. Since then I've always ordered a small.
Well, ordering is done via email to a ham in HR. My new shirts with our new logo got delivered and they're medium. I emailed the ham and she replied "yeah I thought that was a mistake so I changed your order. These were a one-time run done to order so we won't get more until the next order at the end of the year."
I emailed back that it was unacceptable, as there are times I'm required to wear the logo, and these things won't fit me. Her response, via email, was "lol maybe you should eat more and fill them out, no guy should wear a small anyways!"
Since she's in HR, I took it to my director. HR pig, director, myself, and pigs boss are having a nice chat about this later today. Here's hoping she gets fired. I could go for a good bbq.
