More proof fats are stupid.
Rhino piercings are rare for a reason. Because most people are not stupid enough to put a very conspicuous piercing dead center in your face. Does she hope to ever, you know, hold down a decent paying job? Because (and I say this as a pierced, tattooed person) that's a quick way to doom most job prospects. Even more lax jobs (like mine) would probably not go for that - because, like I said, there is no way to minimize it. It's right there and you can't avoid it. I mean, I can hide all my stuff if need be. You can't with that. She did not think that through at all. But then again, I'm guessing attention was the point.

I had to let my nose piercing grow shut finally because taking it out for work was too much of a pain and it kept getting infected from it. And I was a cocktail waitress at the time! I can't imagine getting any kind of job anywhere with this monstrosity. And the piercing looks bad, too! Ba-dum-bum-crash

I am lucky in that I work in a field that is generally a lot more lax on body modification (I work in social services - they are generally happy just to have people willing to stay in the public sector, versus private practice). I can get away with a lot, but I know this would cross the line, mostly because of just how distracting it is. It cannot be hidden at all - and I doubt a retainer would work. I am generally a modification friendly person and I find it distracting! It looks so...off. It's not aesthetically pleasing. So why?
For attention, that's why.
