TBH I think insulin should only be for type 1 diabetics as type 2 can live without it with proper diet and excercise.

Hmmm, notice how the girl in the cover looks like a model, a fit one at that. That's statistically the lowest percentsge of people who will get any type of diabetes. I bet the article editors realized that there would be some outrage if they used the most common victim of diabetes. AKA a land whale and decided to play it safe and use a thin model instead

Fitness has nothing to do with whether you acquire Type 1 diabetes or not. That is actually determined primarily by genetics and your immune system.

Why do Africa and Asia have a considerable diabetes problem? Don't we throw money at those countries because they are starving?

I think your second question answers the first question. I mean if we weren’t flushing money down the toilet of Africa then we wouldn’t have a problem.
