Greetings, fellow pregnant lady! I can confirm everything you say (though I am much further along).

So, bad news - it gets worse with them. As they get further along, they will start eating even more, and moving even less. I have seen ones who claim to be in the last trimester and STILL don't look pregnant. Like, it's still hidden under there. And some of them wear maternity clothes before they ever even GET pregnant (I found this out recently) so they just keep buying larger and larger tarps. I have never seen such a variety of muumuus until I had to start going to childbirth classes.

And they COMPLAIN. Oh, do they complain! About their backs, their knees, heartburn, swelling, can't sleep, sleep too much, hungry all the time, etc. It never stops. I will admit to having some uncomfortable days (especially now that we're nearing the end) but I'm happy to bear them because I know it's worth it in the end. They act like pregnancy is the WORST thing ever and they can't wait for it to be over. I'm trying to value it as much as I can (least of all because we were unsure for a while whether this would ever materialize for us) and they treat it like some kind of tribulation. And they trade food stories - the other day I heard one mention "slutty brownies" which are, from what I can tell, when you mix brownie batter and chocolate chip cookie dough together. And here I am, making myself eat foods I don't even enjoy so much just because they are healthy.

So I hope I haven't said anything too scary, but you'll encounter more of them. I take it to heart that I am at least here trying to give my child the absolute best start in life and they aren't. Hey, at least mine will skate past theirs in school.

I believe it. Most of those ailments they probably had before being pregnant. Now they just have an excuse to complain besides being fat. 🙄

Good luck in your last few weeks. Nice to know there are other pregnant shitladies like me out there since all I see are hams.

Greetings fellow pregnant ladies!

I actually lost weight during the first 3-4 months of pregnancy- because I was eating similarly, but I gave up wine, haha.

People ask me all the time how I'm feeling as if they expect me to have a lot to complain about. Besides the occasional hip soreness (I hear 2nd babies cause that, since the hips have already stretched once before), feeling hot and wanting the A.C. on lower than usual, and having to pee (what feel like) all the time, I have been feeling great! I love being pregnant and I love my little ninja even when he kicks hard :). It's so amazing to be growing a human!

Also, admittedly my friend made slutty brownies and brought them to a party I had last year and they were pretty banging. It's a layer of chocolate chip cookie dough, then oreos, covered in brownie mix and cooked together. I would not make them, personally, but it was a treat.
