So OBGYNs think it's 'normal' now to gain 100lb?

Fuck if I know. But My GP sent me to a nutritionist because she said I "wasn't gaining enough weight" (I was right on track for what's considered normal) and the anesthetist who did my epidural was super excited that I was "skinny" because he said he could see exactly where he needed to put the needle. In the end I gained 25 pounds, and the recommended was 25-35. And like I said, my sister's husband was pulled aside because her doctor thought she was lying about having an eating disorder. I hypothesize that doctors are just so used to seeing heifers, that they forget what a normal, human pregnancy looks like.

Makes you really question the entire medical profession.

Apparently yes. My obgyn kind of forced me to eat until I gained 40 pounds with my pregnancy. She purposely withheld medication for nausea just to get me to “eat my nausea” away.
The look on her face when I showed up at the 6 weeks appointment having lost majority of the weight I gained (due to fasting, BFing, juicing, keto, and CICO) was priceless.
She legit thought I had an eating disorder and didn’t believe that I could still BF my son.

That's seriously fucked up.
