Pregnant fats are the worst. They think they can get away with being cunty-er than usual because, "muh hormonal mood swings!" They also think being pregnant gives them a carte blanche to eat whatever they want and however much they want, while simultaneously making them immune to criticism regarding their or the baby's health.
Oh, and doctors are now so used to seeing these adipose monstrosities that they think normal weight pregnant ladies must have an eating disorder for not ballooning 100+ pounds... so just be prepared to have a couple health care professionals question your eating habits (happened to both me & my sister while we were pregnant...apparently not gaining weight during the first trimester because you're barfing so much means that you have an eating disorder, idk) My sister's OB actually had the balls to pull her husband aside and confirm with him that she didn't have an eating disorder. But I digress...

Luckily my Obgyn has not mentioned anything about my weight yet and she encourages me to keep working out. So I hope that’s a good sign.

So OBGYNs think it's 'normal' now to gain 100lb?

Fuck if I know. But My GP sent me to a nutritionist because she said I "wasn't gaining enough weight" (I was right on track for what's considered normal) and the anesthetist who did my epidural was super excited that I was "skinny" because he said he could see exactly where he needed to put the needle. In the end I gained 25 pounds, and the recommended was 25-35. And like I said, my sister's husband was pulled aside because her doctor thought she was lying about having an eating disorder. I hypothesize that doctors are just so used to seeing heifers, that they forget what a normal, human pregnancy looks like.

Apparently yes. My obgyn kind of forced me to eat until I gained 40 pounds with my pregnancy. She purposely withheld medication for nausea just to get me to “eat my nausea” away.
The look on her face when I showed up at the 6 weeks appointment having lost majority of the weight I gained (due to fasting, BFing, juicing, keto, and CICO) was priceless.
She legit thought I had an eating disorder and didn’t believe that I could still BF my son.
