John Cena actually has a really good weght loss program on the market. Really unnecessary cause it's all common sense, but non-gimmicky and sound.

At some point my mother got like 25lbs overweight. She tried several of the bootcamp DVD style programs, would lose weight, but then stop doing them and gain it back. She'd be like, "I cant maintain the program. I guess I'm just in my 60s now so I'm just going to be fat."

I tried to tell her, "Mom, you don't need some bootcamp DVD. Just cut down on the starches at all the church potlucks you go to and get some moderate exercise every day."

She wouldn't listen to me because she "didn't east anything unhealthy like candy or desserts."

Well long story short she somehow ended up with this Cena program that doesn't pitch, "Get a six pack," but, "be healthy." She lost all the weight she wanted to plus some and maintained for like two years now. I looked at the program and sure enough it was Diet- pick one protein a meal, one side, and eat all the veggies you want. Dont obsess and worry about "cheat days" or the like, but just follow that most of the time. Exercise - heres a DVD with a collection of light calisthenics routines. Do one few times a week and go for a walk a couple times a week.

She swears it's some sort of miracle.

If paying some TV guy 50 bucks or so made her listen it was worth it I guess.
