I know this isn't food hate but honestly... none of that is really food. Much less food you should eat every day at a young age. It's super refined and processed, literally empty calories. Fat must really dull the tastebuds because to me all of those would just taste like plastic.

I saw a post in this sub yesterday that linked to a reddit sub for 1200 calorie diets. I clicked through a bunch of posts and was astounded by how many were bragging about the junk they fit in their allotment for the day. I know we don't do food hate, but when those are the bulk of posts I see geared toward "healthy" eating, I still see a segment of the population headed toward future health problems. It's like our population is allergic to produce. (I have my own bias toward produce driven diets - not necessarily vegetarian. We have a 3000 ft vegetable garden / fruit orchard we're building up and we refer to it as the arsenal against disease.)

It's all complete garbage except the fruit. High salt, high sugar, high fat, no fiber. Ham mom claims the children are in cheer, karate and baseball but I suspect they are probably minimoons eating this trash. Sad... when I was in high school all the cheerleaders were hot.

Agreed the USA population (at least in the South) is averse to fresh produce. Everything is deep fried and buttered. For my snacks I usually go to Sprouts and get whatever's on sale. When I was growing up stuff watermelons & cantaloupes were considered treats, not these insane calorie bombs. We ate fast food/pizza once or twice a month or so. I thank my parents for it every day when I see the shit my planet sized co-workers are consuming.

I really hope we can get our garden going next spring. This year it kind of bombed as it was my first year. I'll hopefully get some potatoes and a bit of lettuce. Everything else sucks or stalled. I live in the one freaking place where produce actually is expensive (bush Alaska) but even we make an attempt.

I try to eat healthy foods but I really am a whore for junk food. I just love it so much. My "trick" is to not eat too much of it so I don't turn into a gross fat fuck, but I can understand why people like it.

Even if you eat a reasonable amount of calories, but youre eating shit, you may not be fat, but you sure as shit wont be healthy. I love vegetables. Dont know how people can go through life just eating proccessed junk.

“They eat everything but 1 item almost everyday.”

Yeah, it’s probably the only reasonably healthy thing, which is the fruit.

Fat parenting at its finest.

Absolutely, and more expensive than it had to be: the ham was so lazy she bought all the little individual bags of "single serving" junk (as a general grocery rule, the smaller the packaging unit, the higher the cost per ounce), instead of buying the snacks cheaper in big boxes, putting the daily servings into Tupperware or Ziploc bags for the kids to take with them. Oh, but that would be way too much work...

One of the things that annoys me the most about lazy fats is the insane amount of unrecyclable garbage they produce, from eating all that junk food every day!

Of course it is, but don't you see? This #SAHM #Iwork7/24s #hardestjobinthecormyforceguard is saving a whole 30 minutes of meal prep for the week. Thing of how much Netflix you could watch combining that over a year????

Shit I meal prepped this week for between my college and martial arts classes, veggies and tofu, pasta. But I guess they have never heard of tupperware.

I hate how much stores push that kind of shit at the beginning of the school year, too. It's all hot dogs, lunchables, mini chocolate bars and bags of chips, etc. I wish they would promote ingredients for healthy school lunches with equal vigour so that lazy moms or moms who don't know much about food would get some ideas.

My mom always made sure to make us actual food for our school lunches.

I don't know what facebook mum group this is from as this was stolen from r/fatlogic. Crucify me but they have good content. Just a retarded fat userbase.

Chill, a lot of content here is taken from fatlogic. It’s no big deal.

I live in ireland, and my wife and I prepare our 3 kids (aged 8, 11 & 14) packed lunch every morning. Every lunch has a sandwich or roll with various protein (chicken, ham, cheese, tuna), fruit and a small snack like a small kit-kat or small mars bar. They have reusable bottles which are filled with tap water (our water is excellent). We usually use wholemeal bread, or rolls which you brown in the oven. This is how most people here do it, and it's reasonably inexpensive. I can't imagine the cost of the OP's picuted crap.
This summer we were on holiday and my kids all are a healthy thin size, you can see their abs for example, while most kids their ages seem to have soft flabby bellies.
