I can't imagine all the amazing things in my life I would have missed if I had to worry about how far I had to walk for them. All the times I've stayed on beautiful islands and walked a mile and a half to the beach, followed by a 3-mile walk to the only pizza place on the island... All the nature hikes where I run into animals in their natural state, doing things you'll never see them doing zoos... all the times I've been out with parents or friends and we've parked far away and walked to parades and fairs and fireworks displays... It must be such a shrouded, shitty life

Right? Imagine not being able to go to the park or a national forest/national park, hike up a mountain, walk your dog, walking on the beach with the sand between your toes and feeling the ocean breeze... Can't imagine missing out on that on something easily preventable and treatable.
