Just a rant. I am sick and tired of hearing excuses any these morons can’t lose weight.
Health conditions? I have fibromyalgia, Celiac disease, depression, anxiety, and has uterine fibroid surgery . I have still lost 120 lbs.
Addiction to food? I was too. I chose to go to therapy and find out why I was so hooked on binge eating and then also sought the help of a dietician to break these habits.
Broke? The gym I go to is $30 per month. I am not rich by any means, and I can still make $30 a month happen. And if I couldn’t, I’d run outside or use exercise videos or whatnot.
Healthy food is expensive? Bullshit. It’s not. Bananas are 45 cents a lb. A bag of brown rice or dry beans is like $2. I buy meat that is “managers special” (meaning expires that day or the next), it’s super cheap and o can meal prep it that day or freeze for later. I cook everything from scratch and it’s far cheaper than when I bought junk or fast food.
No time? Also bullshit. I work full time, run a successful Etsy store, I’m involved in a musical right now and on rehearsals 5 days a week. I still work out 6 days a week and meal prep every Sunday.
So they can suck it and admit they’re lazy, they have no respect for themselves, and are fat because they don’t care enough to make a change.

Sounds like you might be leaning towards "material goods are what matters." Being able to get necessities matters, but comforts aren't necessarily going to lead to a happy life. Also, what do you mean by a "decent life?" Looking at how politicians in most of the west are working towards replacing the population of the people they are suppose to represent I don't see how anyone is guaranteed a decent life in a way that matters in the coming decades.
I guess there might be some cool new gadgets or something to look forward to.
