I especially hate the time excuse. Time fills what you give it. If they truly cared about achieving weight loss, they'd make time for it.

They have no time because they hit the snooze button for an hour, then have to rush to look presentable (their opinion, not ours), and then have to hit up Starbucks on the way to work, ordering some nonsense that takes extra time to make. We all see them rush into work every day at the last minute with wet hair.

Not to mention you actually SAVE time by eating less, even if you don't want to exercise, it saves time and money to just eat less.

Plus many exercises combine cardio with strength training, (burpees, jump squats, etc)

Yes! My days are always full, but gym is part of it because I PLAN FOR IT.
