Shouldn't ten year olds eat salads and lean protein? I don't get how that's a bad thing. Do fats not realize that 'diet' just means 'what you eat' and that diets can be healthy as well as unhealthy?

Children need salads and lean protein now more than ever. Have you seen the sugar and other junk schools, scouts, and other organizations are giving to our children these days?

I know, I know. It's pretty sad how fat kids are getting.

They choose to focus exclusively on the colloquial use of "diet" to mean a set of eating rules designed to result in weight loss and ignore the broader use of it as "what a living being eats on a daily basis," like "A Barn Owl's diet consists exclusively of mice." So when you start applying fatlogic, diet = restriction, restriction = eating disorder, therefore any restrictions to your eating whatsoever mean you're on a diet and have an ED. Unless you're eating crap 24/7 you're part of the problem.

I eat crap 24/7, just not to the point of gaining weight. It's not that hard to only eat until you're full and then stop eating.
