That is so dumb. Let's buy clothes that are ripped up and full of holes because it's trendy.

Could never understand this trend. Perhaps people who aren't active at all wanting to make it look like they actually go out and do things that would cause rips and tears

No, they are just stupid sheep. This is the same fad back in the late 80s when they sold jeans with pre made holes in them. It's very gay and stupid.

You can't understand because this post is wrong. Butterhuffers, at least from my experience, do not wear ripped jeans unless they rip them themselves. Mostly fit/skinny people wear them.

I think that people who wear them are just trying to show off how "poor" they are. It is basically virtue signaling so you aren't percieved as "the rich person".

Either that, or they are just slutty and want to show off legs/thighs without seeming like a thot.

Do you think these people are more frustrated and dumbfounded by the obesity of the foreigners that they're making the jeans for, or the disparity in wealth such that they're being paid to ruin the jeans for the obese foreigners in advance?

I think they're probably happy to have a job. The vast majority of them don't really have a perspective of what western life is like.

What if it got more popular because it helps the fats hide the real rips? Do they even know how many denim workers they pushed into doing this line of work?

When the fats rip their pants their pants are usually totaled.
