Want to know why CICO will never be pushed by the mainstream media?

Cause CICO doesn't sell, in fact it promotes the opposite.

Shit like "FatFighter" will always be pushed instead because it has identifiable products that can be sold at a high price. =\

It's pretty worrisome when you look at the amount of influence held by the packaged food industry as a whole. And of course chain restaurants are pretty big too. Might be a bit tinfoil hat. But I really think that's the biggest reason why there hasn't been much of a push for people to cook more. Nobody's making bank selling broccoli. They are selling a big mash of cheap filler with the words "healthy!!" all over it and a couple tiny little pieces of broccoli thrown in.

Meanwhile cooking versions of almost anything at home is often simple, tastes better after a little practice, will have a better nutritional profile and usually far less calories.

tinfoil hat

"Conspiracy theory" becoming an insult is disinfo pushed by government agencies to discredit anyone questioning the narrative. If there is a sickness infecting your society, and you have to question whether or not the powers that be are letting it happen or even promoting it in order to make a profit or accomplish some other agenda, then you're probably right.

Low carb / paleo legitimately work and keep you healthier but it's turned into a disaster of high calorie TV dinners and candy flavored with sugar alcohol (can't be digested and gives diarrhea).

Sad that marketing and laziness destroys any chance at advancement in nutrition.

I don't know if I hate sugar alcohols or stevia more. Sugar alcohols make you shit yourself, but stevia tastes like assholes.

A bag of apples is cheap as hell, though, and plenty sweet enough for me.
