This is ridiculous. People can enjoy working out, especially bodybuilding or running or whatever. I could give a fuck what my Wilks score is as long as I look good naked. I can do without all of the pathetic wraps, chains, bands, chalk and all of that other stupid shit. I can also enjoy the lack of all of the injuries that come along with powerlifting. Nobody care what your Wilks is except you and a close knit of the people you lift with. Let's not also forget most powerlifters have power bellies that go along with it. They have the discipline to train for the most part, but no discipline to stop dirty bulking and eating like shit.

If your score is shit, it means you are weaker pound-for-pound than the majority of your peers, which indicates that you either have underdeveloped muscles, excessive amount of body fat, or both.

You're not gonna "look good naked" with a shit Wilks score simply because that's predicated on a combination of well-developed musculature with low bodyfat percentage.

Even runners don't have shit scores due to their lighter bodyweights which offset their relatively lower lift numbers.

I can do without all of the pathetic wraps, chains, bands, chalk and all of that other stupid shit.

Hint: It's usually the fat fuck potbellied "strongman" lifters who are allergic to raw lifts.

When you see the knee wraps, thick compression shirts, chains, etc. come out, it's typically a roly-poly attempting an equipment-assisted 1RM to feel good about how much they can "lift". Which ties in to the whole "I'm fat but muh 4+ plate (quarter-rep) squat and 5+ plate (strap-assisted, gunt-assisted) deadlift!!111" mentality.

They need the extra gear to compensate for shit form and underdeveloped auxiliaries from cutting corners during training.

Standard oly lifts maybe involve chalk for heavy deadlifts, and that's about it.

That's not the point he's making. Being a PL enthusiast is as shitty a justification for being fat as any other, but if you're gonna use it... At least do it properly.

Also for fuck's sake, shut up. You're not special.
