Hey everyone. So my 4th period class is vocational prep, which is basically about careers and jobs such as interviews, how to fill out resumes and things like that. Today we did a team building assignment in pairs where we were given a list of people who are in q plqne that will crash, and thus we have to choose which are worth saving and landing on a deserted island.
Now fact about me is my desired career is to be a fish and game warden, a cop who enforces environmental conservation laws meaning arresting poachers and DUI boaters as well as search and rescue in the wilderness. Now one thing I've hewrd of is triage which is defined as:
(in medical use) the assignment of degrees of urgency to wounds or illnesses to decide the order of treatment of a large number of patients or casualties.
So with this in mind, I followed a pragmatic rescue mindset and opted not to save the various pregnant women, the dropout baby daddy, the ill and handicapped and only chose those who had knowledge of biology/botany for finding edible plants, a guy who spoke no English but could fish, a farmer and football player since they were fit and could help with physical tasks and other people who would well, be useful
Here's where the shitlording comes in. When I'm reading the people we didn't choose to save, I pointed out how one of the options (a fat guy of course) wouldn't be very useful due to being out of shape and thus unable to build shelter, forage or outrun wild animals. I then said the only possible benefit would be as a food source for the survivors, or maybe use their flesh as traps for animals. The class then erupted in a mixture of shock and laughter (we have two fat Filipinos in my class). As we went back to our seats, the teacher actually said that it was great I was in the class!

You could use him as the slowest in the group that gets caught by the predator and then catch the predator for food while it is eating the fat.

Exactly what I meant by using them for traps.
