I love the ‘alternatives to soda’ section. Very educational. I didn’t know you can drink water instead, did you?

There are actually lots of people who literally never drink water, and often drink nothing but soda. I can't even fathom it. I mostly drink water, once or twice a month I might drink some Dr. Pepper. But drinking NOTHING but soda 24/7 isn't even thinkable to me.

Yeah I don’t understand it either. I love water and tea, I drink soda once a month maybe? Everyday? So gross.

I've been drinking soda all my life and I love soda, but even I make sure I drink at least one big glass of plain water every day, too (usually it's more like three)--I get one soda a day, that's it. I love caffeine and am not a big coffee fan.

Soda just makes me more thirsty, so I save the soda for cocktails.

I honestly think this is one of the reasons society is "ok" with the high level of water pollution we have right now. (Yes, it's all water. No, your bottled water isn't special.) People have no idea that they need to drink it! They don't even consider that water is part of everything they consume because it's "that stuff in the toilet bowl."

Fun Fact: Did you know that you can legally flush radioactive waste down the toilet? How many waste treatment plants do you think remove radioactive waste during the treatment process?
