I knew someone who was 250 and lost almost 100lbs after the surgery. She kept drinking soda and eating bad foods and constantly has diarrhea and other issues. Even had to have both knees replaced. I think bariactric surgery is BS even the people it helps usually stay at least somewhat overweight. Rarely do they look like a normal human being.

Fats often seem to get this idea that bariatric surgery the easy way out, a get out of jail free card. Then they're like "oh wow I lost all this weight now I can go back to eating several times what a human being is supposed to" and and in no time at all they end up right back at square one. Losing weight requires a lifestyle change, there is no quick easy fix. No matter how much weight someone loses they'll gain it all back in no time at all if they go back to their old habits. They know this and they're told this before getting any such surgery, but fats are too stupid to consider things like long-term consequences versus short-term gain. This illustrates the mindset of your typical fat pretty well.
