I've seen her, she was 280 pounds at least 2 years and 100 pounds ago. She's always hurting herself, has signed up for the IM several years in a row, and has never qualified. Her last one, which she solicitated donations for, she completely blew off and went on a vacation with her even fatter girlfriend.

She blogs about how hard she trains but never posts actual numbers, and her "marathons" always come in dead last.

Good job proving how capable you are.

I want to see the official results, too. That first marathon she talks about took her twelve hours to finish, and she only did that because she was able to bully a race worker/volunteer into staying. She even strips the EXIF data off her "training selfies" so you can't tell they were all taken within five or ten minutes.

Don't forgot it cuts the course even when it's only 5km. It didn't even manage to finish close to the front despite taking a shortcut and skipping half the distance.

I think the worst part of this story is:

  • It "trained" for a marathon.

  • It ran a marathon.

And, worst of all...

  • It managed to stay fat!

If you are distance running and training correctly, it is hard to stay fat. Your body rejects garbage food. This means Regan is an especially vile glutton.

I had some greasy Indian food yesterday and I felt like dogshit today training. I pushed through because fuck quitting but I had a big plate of broccoli and chicken breast after because my body was just screaming for whole foods. I feel so much better.
