Really? I don't run (muh disabilities) so I lift, bike and hike instead. I was thinking it would be nice to get actual numbers to track instead of just keeping a weekly count in my head. How are they with bodyweight, dumbbell, or bicycle training?

Sorry for the late response, I don't check voat very often. For bicycling, they are superb. The pricier garmins have the ability to connect accessories to your bike to track all kinds of different data. The vivoactives will track route and speed, but not much else. For bodyweight/dumbbell, it will track heart rate/calorie burn and that's it.

The vivoactive 3 tracks many workouts from all cardio to weight training and yoga. It’s not perfect but it tries to predict the exercise I’m doing such as 12 reps of squats. It’s not always right but you can edit it later and have a good base to work off. They’re great for bike training because it uses GPS outdoors as is very accurate. It even accounts for wind. On a trainer you can use a foot pod but nothing accounts for power like zwyft.
