I have an even better and much older piece of technology: a belt.

I'm wearing a pair of pants I've had for twenty years right now. Yes, I've repaired the pockets a hundred times and it's probably time to get rid of them, but they're actually a little too big for me anyway(34/32 and I wear a 32/32).

I have a tux that is 20 years old, bought it when I qualified as a solicitor (lawyer). It fits perfectly, slightly lose if anything as the current fashion in suits is for a more form fitting cut. Why do people assume you have to get fatter as you get older?

Same, I have a pair of cargo shorts that I've had for about 10-12 years now. Wear them when I go fishing or boating. I've stitched so many holes and tears in them I think it's more seams and patches than original fabric by now, but by god are they comfy. I'm a 32 and they're a 34 so they hang a little loose, but nothing a good belt doesn't fix.

I have a lot of old clothing as well. Most jeans I replaced to be honest because the quality wasn't good to begin with, but the jeans I bought after that I still have. You must be a guy since I wear 27/34 and I assume you're not fat :)

I still track exercise and food with a pen and paper.
Truely I am ancient.
