Fat drivers are more than three times more likely to die in a car crash than whose of a healthy weight

But HAES, amiright?

Here, the AA said car manufacturers might want to look at safety features that could be added or adapted to protect the growing body of obese Britons.

How about smaller doors, so they can't get in?

Wait, let me guess -- it's because of the patriarchy, right?

These tiny cars are a tool of the patriarchy to constrict and control the bodies of full-figured women, of course! Women are meant to be 4746374lbs, and forcing us to conform to the impossible standard of being able to reach our own asses to wipe is sexist!

Did anyone read the first line of title in professor Farnsworth's voice?

Am not shocked, all those eatbeasts saying their fat would cushion the blow can't do shit now.

They should treat this like theme park rides. They are too fat to be adequately protected by the normal safety mechanisms so they should not be allowed to drive. I doubt there is a way to accommodate both thin and fat people with the same style of seat belt and I certainly don't see why thin people should suffer because they had the audacity to take care of themselves. That's also not to mention that I guarantee fats are more likely to be in car crashes more often because they are lazy, stupid, inattentive, and slow to move. And that is not to mention that fatsos have no business driving when they could use the exercise of walking.

If it weren't for the fact that innocents could also be killed, I would say sure let them drive ...with statistics like that.

I remember a story from FPH way back in the day, possibly at fattit, about some pig who had to grease the steering wheel in order to get in/out of the car. As well for it to be able to turn against it's gut while it was driving. Doesn't take a genius to conclude they are a danger to all on the road.

Unfortunately for fats the the momentum they carry is a function of mass multiplied by velocity. They do make seatbelts designed to compensate for excessive crash forces: racing harnesses lol

also the blubber is soft and moves around a lot, this fucks with the normal function of a shoulder belt (its supposed to hold tight) also the fat can actually crush organs and bones because it flops around so much in the crash. also it takes up a lot of empty space that a human normally has

You know what sucks about this crazy statistic, though? Within the next 10 years, vehicles will be designed with the safety of fat fucks as top priority, and vehicles will be less safe for us somehow.

Vehicles often catch fire when they crash, just imagine being stuck in a fire because you're too fat to get get out of the tangled metal. I'm sure this happens a lot.

And your own abdomen fuels the fire further.

Am reminded of the death fat that has to lube up the steering wheel so she can turn it cause her gut rubs against it. I'm sure that's useful for accident avoidance.

Fat drivers are 80% more likely to die in a crash: Extra weight stops seat belts tightening properly | Daily Mail Online

'Obese drivers are more likely to die in car crashes than other motorists - with fat women most at risk, warn scientists. '

'But the risk doubles for obese women, says research published in the Emergency Medicine Journal. '

'Heavier people are up to 80 per cent more likely to die in an accident than drivers of a healthy weight, according to a new study. '

'Having a BMI of 35 and over is morbidly obese - severely obese - while 45-plus is super obese. '

'In the study, the fatter the driver, the bigger the risk of death compared with someone of normal weight. '
