They know their target market. And that's fatties.

When I saw this, my first thought was "Holy shit their marketing people crunched the numbers and decided there was a demand for this."

Why not just cut to the chase and replace the veggies on the pizza with cookie dough?
[–] 11519591? 0 points 3 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago
Why not go all the way?

The cookies give them something to nibble while waiting the horrifying 20 minutes for the pizza to cook. Gotta keep starvashun mode at bay y'know. This isn't just clever marketing, it's a key to healthy living.

Well I think the cookies are to be baked as well, but tubby won't be able to wait that long so they'll just eat the dough.. ugh
[–] CosmoMcKinley 0 points 4 points 4 points (+4|-0) ago
That goes without saying. In fact, Tubby probably digs out the cookie dough to munch on the way home.

I was shocked too, but at least in our local grocery, they make sure there's a hanging rack with ranch dressing proudly displayed by the pizza section. So yeah our grocery is trying to help shitlord them into death quicker I guess :)

UPDATE: I just went to the same grocery and they have removed the ranch racks for tins of generic mushrooms and that parmesan cheese shite.
We were going to take a pic to show you that this actually happened to us, but they ruined it for us. /sad

What’s really sad is some people would consider this “healthy” because it’s “home cooked” instead of take-out.
[–] jeffjeff 0 points 1 point 1 point (+1|-0) ago
Agreed. I once saw a documentary where a mother was going on about how much healthier her 'home cooked' freezer bag chicken nuggets were compared to McBeetus takeout. For her child. She really seemed to believe this and it's fucking depressing to realise there is so much ignorance out there.

Brings to mind that Red Baron commercial where they are comparing achievements, and the mom goes ‘I got my family to finish their dinner’ and it’s fucking pizza. Like it was sooooo hard for her to get them to finish their shitty frozen pizza and it’s something to take pride in.

It’s 1800 cal for the pizza...not bad for 2-3 people really. Just a snack for a standard size obeast :)

This is a real product?

Wow... Digiorno seems to be a popular brand among fats. I never cared much about the frozen food section since I like making food from scratch.

This isn't food hate
[–] mmmmdonuts 0 points 1 point 1 point (+1|-0) ago
I know, looks good to me lol
