And yet almost every cancer awareness event I've ever seen is filled with fats. And nobody ever points out the problem there. It's like having everyone at a lung cancer awareness event lighting up.

Yeah, and I love that this information was put out by the CDC. One of the most respected centers for epidemiologic data. Take that, fatty.

Jesus Christ! Are we really at 71% overweight? God that's depressing. Who's going to carry on the next generation? Because everyone knows that fat people "deserve" to be with shitlords and we're to be punished for existing because by existing, we're fat shaming these fat-tards! Everyone knows that right? And there simply isn't enough shitlords to go around for all the deserving fatties? It's a riddle!

I just sent this link to my fat mom who might have cancer, not sure yet, still testing for it.

She doesn't smoke or spend time in the sun so she's completely baffled by the how. Hopefully this will serve as a wake up call.

Something tells me it'll be a while before we see warning labels on Twinkies boxes and McDonald's wrappers though. "A while" as in "not in our lifetimes, if ever."

Annoyingly, I"m sure that even a pretty good percentage of people who aren't fat would protest it. A lot of the same people who laugh at the idea of fat shaming will in full sincerity use the term food shaming if someone acts like fast food in moderation is just an acceptable rather than fantastic idea.

Most assuredly. Look at the outrage that even sensible ideas like a soda tax generate. Cries of "nanny state" quickly draw attention from the rather obvious fact that far too many people do in fact need a nanny to at least try to control what they're shoving into their gobs.
