"If you're obese and your weight is not changing then you don't chronically under eat. You're just bad at counting calories."

I just laughed so hard.

"apples, oranges, peaches, strawberries, blueberries I haven't counted oils, didn't think to. But I have had relapses. What usually happens is about once every 2-3 weeks, I'll have a day where I eat all kinds of shit."

going on a maintenance diet followed by a 3000 calorie surplus isn't how you lose weight

!!! Not counting oils, didn't think to do that. What the fuck??? These people have the intelligence of third graders. Below that someone asks if cooking oil transfers to food, such as when you're deep frying. Gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

If it is just a little tiny slice of pizza, or if you break cookies in half and then eat a dozen of them slowly throughout the day, or eat things like sunflowers seeds (which are healthy), those calories don't count. 78.6 million Americans are actually that delusional.

Just a little correction: The commentator asked about oil transfering to the food when NOT deep frying.

Yeah. I had to stop reading after that. You know if they weren't counting oils they aren't counting fruits, veg, probably even the raw nuts. Delusional ham.

Say what you want about /r/fitness, it may be a massive circle jerk, but man, they hate on delusional fatties almost as much as us.

The first thing they did was calling BS. They are inmune to fatlogic because they actually exercise and don't just read thigns on the internet.

Archive link for those looking to avoid reddit

Using a scale and mfp? And still doesn't know why he's not losing weight? Because he's not tracking or weighing shit properly. And further in the comments, he mentions that he wasn't tracking oils... idiot. That means he's not tracking a lot of shit.

I think your last statement is the crux of the "problem" here. Obese people eat mindlessly as we've all seen. So...if you eat things without thinking about them, how can you be expected to count those calories? By the time you log calories (probably only after an actual meal), you've forgotten all about that snack or whatever because you never thought about it in the first place.

That's why they all think they only eat a couple hundred calories a day. They think if you don't count it, it doesn't count. Sorry tubby, your body counts it even if your brain doesn't. That's why I always round up.

And one person told him to eat more and he replied that he would, that's all he wanted, one person to agree with him so he could stop dieting

I get to about 1900 calories and I feel very full. It's a struggle to eat 2200-2300 calories per day, which is what I'm shooting for.

and

I haven't counted oils, didn't think to.

There's your problem, dumbass. At his height/weight, around 2400 is maintenance. If he's actually TRYING to eat that much, and skipping the counting for some things, he's basically guaranteeing weight gain. Good fucking job.

Bonus "advice":

1 or 2 days per week you should try to hit 2,500 calories with lots of carbs. Do a search for "refeed" and "leptin"

Jesus christ.

This reminds me of another post I recently saw on a fitness subreddit. So basically a ham had started working out but wasn't losing any weight, so they posted something along the line of:

"I recently started working out and have been doing it for a few weeks now. Initially, I feel great but I've not noticed a big change yet. I still have a tummy, love handles and more. My weight fluctuates from 81-83kgs. I've reached that point where I'm like "What's the point?" I'm still continuing my workout but is this normal?"

Why do all the hams instantly expect results? Of course most of the thread was people telling him to properly track his food intake and the guy at least seemed somewhat serious about that. So hopefully the fat population loses another member.

It's becasue hams are used to instant gratification through eating so they think everything should be that way.
