It's a whole week after payday and I haven't gambled it away! I'm so proud of myself that I'm feeling really lucky...

Nothing says "making progress" like resetting the board to celebrate.

2 steps forward. 2 steps back.

Congratulations, you walked an amount that is at best slightly more than you should be doing on a normal day. You definitely deserve two days worth of calories.

I walk more than this each day at work and also cycle around 20 miles each day and don't even burn a quarter of those calories. Fats are delusional.

You don't burn 3k calories in a day doing that? Do you just go comatose the rest of the day or are you confused as to what Fitbit's dashboard displays?

That's what these McMonsters just don't get. If you really want to lose weight, lay of the junk food. But nope, their brains keep telling them their entitled to it. It's now a reward so it's ok. I really wonder how massive you'd have to be to burn 3000 cals. walking 7 miles.

Walking 2 hours at a leisurly pace + vanilla shake = net gain.

Its mind boggling. " i just got my lazy ass a tiny bit of exercise. Now instead of staying on a positive path, im going to completely negate my minor healthy behavior."

Where are these apps getting their stats?? My fiance had a smart watch that told him he burned 2,000 calories walking 10,000 steps, and he is far from fat. They really need to stop trying to cater to all the feefees and give people actual stats.

This looks like Fitbit. It tells you how many Calories you've burned in a day, but this is your regular TDEE plus the exercise you've done. (My TDEE is 1750, so if I burn 300 through exercise, it tells me I've burned 2050). It tends to be wildly inaccurate, though. This ham believes that she burned 3000 calories just through exercise today and that she can eat her normal amount plus 3000 and not gain weight. And that's why fatties stay fat!

Ahh, I see. I've never owned a Fitbit. That makes a lot more sense. I don't have too many calorie counts for how many calories I've burned on stuff, so this just looked so off, lol.

That's the Fitbit app. I ignore the calorie info it gives since it's not correct - it grossly overestimates your burn. They're pretty good as a glorified pedometer - heart rate monitor combo, though.

JFC how fat is your cousin that her TDEE is 3000 calories when she takes 16k steps???

Seriously. 7 miles at a relaxed walking pace isnt shit. I have a little trail camera addiction. A lot of my cameras require me to hike 7 miles to check. Thats in steep mountainous terrain, with anywhere from 20-50 lb pack on my back. Id be a fucking butter golem if i celebrated every cam check with a milk shake.

Doing the math and being generous with 2 foot steps, that'd be 2640 steps per mile, so 16,603 steps is 6.29 miles. In 115 minutes that'd be a pace of 3.28 miles per hour. Using maths, it came to about 900 calories if it was 300 lbs.

Adding in a BMR of 2100 of a 300 lb, thing, that's about 3000 calories. There's still some bullshit going on here. Just can't figure what the fuck.

Seriously. I had a day a few weeks ago with over 20k steps (a 5k jog was included in that somewhere) and I didn't break 2800 calories according to my Charge HR

That BMR is from an online calculator, doing my own I got roughly 200 lbs for the same BMR, either way it's too heavy.

I did 17 miles on a little foot peddler cycle the other day. It said I burned like 500 calories. That can't be right?

Agreed, there is no way 7 miles of walking is going to burn 3,000 calories. There a number of junk health apps that give ridiculous stats. I wonder if it's a similar situation to the clothing vanity sizing issue, were each app maker inflates their stats to attract users and users shop around to get an app that tells them they're on some kind of olympic training regime.

The only other explanation I can think of is that it includes her normal TDEE and work's up from there, so it would start at like 2,800 or something. (Depending on how huge the fat cunt is)

The only reason I could see someone burning 3000 calories with a 7 mile walk is if they're like 400 lbs or something. I've done way more activity in a day and I've never been close to burning 3000 calories ever.

That app is insane, there's just no way you can burn that many calories with so little exercise.

BMR + calories burned, not just calories burned. Amazing how many people here shit talk Fitbits without ever having used one.
