Is this the old, "we're going to die anyway so best do everything possible to die sooner" argument? I always like that one.

I hate that argument. They always assume that because I eat healthy and exercise that I'm somehow not enjoying life. As though having every joint ache on a daily basis, being unable to walk, or not being able to wipe my own ass are ways to enjoy life. I love cooking healthy food, I especially love eating it, and I feel great as a result.
I used to be a glutton. I was never so miserable in all my life.

Completely agree. It would be sad if it wasn't pathetic. Their only experience with feeling good is a sugar high. They have never done anything for themselves ever that gives a reward like exercise, commit to a decent diet, or achieve goals. They think they are enjoying life, but they haven't even lived for a second.
