Just because you say so? When does government ever make things cheaper? Until healthcare system finds a way to incorporate lifestyle choices (bad drivers) into premium calculations I don't think so.

Take it from someone who lived in such a place for a couple of years. On paper it sounds even economical reasonable. But in reality you are paying for fat-asses, druggies, criminals now even those who managed to jump over the border. I don't mind paying for cancer patients, elderly folks or burn victims costly recovery but you get no god-damn incentive to stay healthy au contraire you get paid when you are sick.
