So the author is bitching that no one likes fat bodies. That's not new. Lot's of fats know they are undesirable and decide that it's society that has the problem. The part that bothers me is that the stories given in here are:
Gets picked up as a fat joke. This happened because she thought and was attracted to a thin, fit man.
Gets asked why her profile pictures show her body. This happened because she was trying to match with a thin, fit man.
Discusses things with a friend who doesn't relate to the discrimunashun of fat. This is because they were thin and fit.
This part pisses me off because they love to bitch about how nobody likes fat all the while only wanting to associate with thin, fit people. She even had to specify later in the article that another friend was fat because the fat descriptor is unusual in terms of the people she wants to be around. If fat people are so desirable/worthy/normal/attractive, why don't you like any of them?
It's just muh standards, I guess. You're allowed to have preferences too, right, even though they totally coincidentally are for thin people like everyone else? The whole fat acceptance movement is so blatantly selfish. Every one of them is pushing the idea that they themselves should be attractive for being fat, but also that it's okay that other fat people are unattractive. None of them are willing to consider that it might be them that is unattractive because how could that be? They are a beetusful, reeeel womyn? The narcissism, and somewhat paradoxically, the lack of self awareness is just unreal.

This sums up their hippocrasy perfectly. I've gotten a lot of shit from she-hogs about how I need to be "body positive" when the only reason they bothered to talk to me is that I have a 6 pack. If they actually meant what they said they wouldn't waddle past other fats to try and B(eetus?)-line to more attractive people. This is a great example of this mentality, if they were seriously about fat people being attractive, and not saltier than mcdonald's fries (but you are what you eat I guess) about people who actually work towards their goals, why put fit people down yet at the same time acknowledge that when the opposite sex is fitter they are more attractive? They really must not have any sort of self awareness whatsoever.
