That statement is so false. The delusion is being spread to all corners of the world.

Obesity is always someone's fault. In 99% of cases it is the individual's fault. The 1% of cases where it's not are those in which a person has no control over their choices.

I'm thinking bedbound/paralyzed people who have their food brought to them. Either (A) the person bringing them the food is a pushover and brings anything demanded, or (B) are obese themselves and this is what they eat, so why would the bedbound person not eat that much.

People with Prader Willi who cannot feel full or always feel hungry (I can never remember which). Again, it is the fault of the care takers.

I would also put short term memory loss illnesses in there too.
