Exactly. This post made me think about a colleague of mine who was a heavy smoker, over two packs a day. That's a fortune to spend on cigarettes. One day I asked him how can he afford that, as at the time we were both on minimum wage, and his mind blowing answer was that sometimes he skipped rent, " but my landlord is cool with it". The addiction is the first and only priority in the addict's life. That's pretty terrifying actually

wow, im a smoker but if it got to the point where i couldnt pay my bills id suck it the fuck up and just go down to two cigarettes a day or something.
