My gym has zero resolutioners.

I lift in my garage. 😃

I've caught the flu so I haven't made it to the gym this year. Maybe I'll get lucky and miss the resolutioners, one upside to sounding like I've been breathing gravel.

Having the flu or other nasal issues are the only acceptable reasons to be a mouth-breather.
Being a resolutioner isn't.

Fats have accepted it and have completely given up it seems.

I too am a bit surprised at the lack of new people. I'm chalking this up to New Years being on a weekend and the snowfall we had the following weekend.

Not sure where you are, but agreed on the snowfall having an impact.

It was -20°C the other day, here, and that meant the gym was like a ghost-town. I almost didn't make it myself, but I figured a good long shower afterwards would make it worthwhile. (It did!)

Same with my area. I usually do a gym safari around New Years to take advantage of promos. It's at least a free month and I get to check out trainers/gyms across the city.

All the mass-market commercial ones I've been to have not been busy. Very few obeasts in sight which is unusual this time of year.

Amazingly enough, I have come across the resolutioners who suddenly want to "be a part of the outdoors" and "hike" = two dumb fatties wearing leggings (more like net) to walk in the Brecon Beacons national park, a great place but is very dangerous for resolutioners, even soldiers have died up there. These girls were so fat and didn't even have a proper coat on them in January, in Wales, during a cold snap.

Tonnes of resolutioners at my gym. Seriously considering changing up my schedule so I don't have to go when they'll be there.

Yes, the fats are getting too lazy to even pretend to try.

I haven't been to my gym in a couple of days because I've been trying to avoid that. However, the usual talk from my coworkers was NOT about going to the gym this year. Their resolutions were to lose weight by going on a detox and cutting out alcohol, cigarettes, sugar, and carbs all at the same time. The only thing I said to them was it's much easier and better to cut out just one thing at a time because doing all of that at once will be difficult. They agreed but did it anyways (of course). Want to guess how long that lasted?

I think more of them are trying to "detox to lose weight" instead of eating less and working out. That and more of them just really don't care.
