Every 'reason' for becoming a whale is tiresome, especially the couldn't exercise because injury excuse yet again so suddenly size 22, but this grandma excuse in particular infuriates me. I know* exactly* what this experience is like. My grandma got sick too. She is dying of Alzheimer's and a heart condition. My aunt took care of her full time with little to no help while also holding down a full time job. I stepped in when my circumstances changed and I lived closer to home and was also doing it nearly full time at one point. Neither of us have ever been fucking fat.

I'm sure you really don't care about this at all. People always work their asses off to change things they love about themselves and totally don't bother them. This post is definitely reflective of the actions of someone who has reached such a high state of enlightenment that they have entirely shed any external influences of how they feel about themselves and their body. Sure, makes perfect sense.

But we all know you cried into your family size fried chicken for three hours before you crawled back to your TwoXChromosomes safe space to puff your gelatinous chest with false confidence and have everyone pat you on the back and reassure you because you know most of them are fat too, and any dissenting voice there will be downvoted to hell or removed because meanies aren't allowed in the special girls club.

That's what really struck me. Lots of people on here have way worse problems than temporarily having a broken hip--from permanent disabilities to chronic pain to rare medical problems-- how come they aren't fat? Shouldn't /u/GreffeduFoie be fat if "stress" and "pain" and "not being able to exercise" causes weight gain?

I spend three nights a week at the hospital 7 hours at a time on dialysis getting my blood cleaned and excess fluids drained, and it leaves you feeling weak and exhausted. But I still get to the gym several times a week, and can run circles around my co-workers, because I will NOT let my disease weaken me and stop me from being the best. People and their excuses make me lol

It's exactly why you know she's never going to follow through with it. People who show patterns of repeating the same mistakes but who refuse to take responsibility for those actions never change. It's almost impossible for them to because you can't change something if you refuse to admit it exists in the first place.

They missed out on that 4000 miles they would have ran to burn off all of the beetus they hammered down.
