"...but I don't mind."
I don't mind so much, that after I finished my ten minute elliptical session and thirty minute selfie session, I went home and fired up my computer so that I could explain to reddit's largest hugbox echo chamber that their actions had no effect on me. In fact, I'm so unaffected, that I will tell everyone how a group of pretty girls laughing in the same room I'm in has no noticeable effect on my self-esteem, because I'm a strong independent woman despite being an obese piece of shit. - Fat girl (if she had self-awareness)
"In a month when the new year shit has worn off, I'm still going to be dieting and working my ass off at the gym everyday. It's not so you, or anyone else, will except me. It's for me."
Just like this post, which got 8000 upvotes and 3 months of reeeeeeddit gold is for you - your validation. I'll start preaching HAES if this person is still going to the gym and doing whatever they consider "dieting" is in a month. Is it a coincidence that this was posted merely four days after New Year's? Or is it likely that this person had a sudden urge to better herself by pinning all her hopes on her New Year's resolutions - the single catalyst that will definitely save her from herself this time.
But guess what? The reason you haven't already lost the weight isn't because all you needed was a small kick in the pants to get you motivated to go to the gym and eat right. The reason you're still fat despite acknowledging it is because it's so much easier to believe that all of your problems are outside of your control, and therefore you can sit back blamelessly as your life turns to shit right before your very eyes, all while munching Doritos or cheesecake by the kilogram, and say "It's not my fault! I broke my hip, my aunt was sick, I have no time, I have a new job, I'm tired, I'm out of town, it's Christmas, it's Thanksgiving, it's Easter..." ad infinitum.
You posted this after New Year's because you're a flake. You're unable to commit to anything and hope the outside world forces you to do what you lack the self-control to do without help. No amount of "self-love" compliment fishing is going to change that about you.

That fucking OP is replying to everyone in the thread too, talking as if she's the mayor of the gym now. She probably thinks each reply burns 200 calories so she can have an extra big "cheat meal" tonight, on the 5th day of her diet.

and by 5th day of "diet" she means eating green m&ms and 4 green slushies so she can get her "greens"

To be fair, each labored breath it takes is probably more calories than my workouts. That's why it needs to constantly shovel chocolate into its rancid maw.
Gotta keep up muh sugahs! :3

I guess eating potato chips every day constantly makes these fuckers extra salty.

I love seeing these posts, especially when they end it with "I'll still be working out a month from now.." because I know how they will end. You'll see one or two more Posts, followed by the final "I ate four tubs of frosting today, God I'm so gross, need to get back on track...ree reeee" then when they don't get a million upvotes for being disgusting, the account goes dark indefinitely. Just look through the loseit subreddit and you'll see exactly what I'm referring to.
