Not only this, but they burn through consumables like nobody's business. Fuel, obviously, but brakes, tyres, suspension, etc all become items replaced as regularly as yearly just from the extra mass. I've heard accounts of full suspension replacement every year and brakes every 6 months mechanics ... wow. They also can't take their foot all the way off the clutch because their fupa is in the way, and likewise, they ride the brakes. You can see this just from following them. It's a car's dream. The suspension thing also makes me question the safety. Obviously, they have a longer braking distance and their fat-addled minds increase their reaction times, but a car so severely unbalanced has potential to brake unevenly. With that much extra load on one side, it would be like braking while under steering angle, which for the uninitiated, doesn't go well. Fats shouldn't be allowed to drive. Cars were only designed for humans and fatties could use the walk.

Don't be silly, fats don't drive manual transmissions.

I have for long wondered why automatic transmissions became so hugely popular in USA. It must be because one hand is needed to hold the beetus all the time.

They do here. Manuals are the standard here and they're cheaper --> more money for food.

They also shouldn't be allowed to use public transport (esp. planes) where they also only cause problems.Or, you know, anything else.

I have a step-aunt (the wife of my father's GF's brother) who's a fucking deathfat. Not long ago, it decided that it wanted a car. Since its husband doesn't want it to use his Renault Mégane and it's too lazy to walk the ~2 km to Tesco and back, he got it an Opel Agila. I don't think that the poor thing (I mean the Agila, not the deathfat) has more than a year left to live...

I'm thankful that public transportation isn't more of a thing in the US. I don't want to attempt to share a sliver of seat with a pile of lard.

This is making me think that's why I see the fats driving F250s and larger.
