Eh, not really. Letting your spouse get >100 pounds overweight while you avoid tackling the issue of finding them increasingly repulsive by cheating on them, and only telling your spouse how you really feel about their weight when you get caught, is about as bad as just being a pig-fucker.

He should have spoken up far earlier, offered to help her lose weight, and left her for someone fitter if she didn't.

That's the problem with these kinds of stories though - we only get to hear one side. IMO cheating is wrong no matter what the situation is, but maybe he had been telling her for a while to lose weight, and just got fed up. Not an excuse to cheat (he should have kicked that pig to the curb 50 pounds ago) but the original article only told the wife's POV (I saw it on here a few days ago, I recall it being heavily biased in her favour.)
