If I had broken my ankle with no cell signal and no one around you would have found me in the middle of dragging myself back to signal/people.

Normal sized people could just use a branch as a crutch and simply hobbled out. No need to drag yourself around. Branches can only support so much weight however so that isn't an option if you weigh more than Godzilla.

If he tried doing that, the branch would probably impale him through the armpit. Then he'd be left without an arm and a leg.

Obesity costs an arm and a leg.

Fatso was only about 300lb, there should have been some lumber capable of partially supporting his fat ass, but nope. Fatty had to ruin a bunch of other people's days rather than put in the effort to help himself. Just like every other day of his fat life.

True. I sprained my ankles in a remote wooded park on two different occasions (once I slipped on the ice and sprained one ankle, another time I tripped and sprained both of them, yes I am clumsy ). This was in ancient times before cellphones were invented. I had no choice but to get up and limp the 1.5 miles out, best to get moving before the swelling sets in.

Plus, I figured even if someone found me, what could they do for me to help anyway, carry me?

You walked out on 2 sprained ankles? Ouch.

It may be possible to crawl out, but I doubt the knees could take 1.5 miles without getting seriously damaged as well.

Uhg. Sprained my ankle in the woods once. Hurt like fuck, but I made it back to my car. After the 2 hour drive home of "this isn't so bad" I tried putting any weight on it to get out of my car and almost ate asphalt. There is no non-sucky way to crawl on dirt/sidewalk I found out.
