Growing up in an Italian-Canadian household meant that we had salad every night after the main course was finished. And it wasn't covered in ranch or cheese either - it was a simple salad with romaine lettuce, radicchio, tomatoes, cucumbers, and sometimes radishes, with either a light vinaigrette or olive oil and red wine vinegar. And during the summer, it was all fresh from my Nonno's garden.

These stupid pigs don't understand that a fresh salad can be absolutely amazing either on its own or as part of a meal. They think having a salad is punishment or that it's"diet food". No wonder they're obese.
